Welcome to the LCC Student Ministry website. I am Donald Buttram, the Youth Pastor for LCC. My purpose at LCC is to minister to the teenagers within LCC, and to reach out to the unchurched and unsaved teenagers within our community.
I was born and raised in Dayton, TN. That's also where I met my wife, Kristie. Kristie and I have six children - three of them are part of the LCC Student Ministry. We were married on November 7, 1992 in our home state of Tennessee. I currently have a full time job in the Air Force. I've been serving in this capacity since March 11, 1993, and I will be retiring from the full time position in March of 2013.

LCC's Student Ministry would not be what it is without the help of those who have bravely stepped into the position of Youth Worker. I am fortunate to have Kristie working closely by my side. She does a great deal to help me stay organized and focused. Beyond my wife, we are blessed with some truly AWESOME youth workers. Russ and Deanna Wells have been with us since the beginning of the Summer of 2008. Aaron and Jessica Ellison are just coming on board. |

Kristie was also born and raised in Dayton, TN. She has been very active in ministry at LCC since the church began in 2002. She homeschools four of our children, she loves to read and she's very creative. As far as I am concerned, one of the greatest feats she accomplishes each day is taking care of me.

Russ and Deanna Wells have been serving in the LCC Student Ministry since the beginning of the Summer of 2008. Russ and Deanna met in Fayetteville, NC in 2005 and have now been married for 2 years. They've been a part of LCC since 2007. Russ is an officer in the US Army and Deanna is a teacher. They are eagerly awaiting their first child, due in January of 2009, and are curious to see how their dog Lucy reacts to a screaming newborn. Russ LOVES sports, especially any sports team hailing from the great state of Texas. Deanna loves reading and window shopping. They both love hanging out with LCC's teenagers and getting the opportunity to point them to Jesus.

Aaron and Jessica Ellison are just coming on board with us. They have been part of LCC since early 2008. They met in Waldorf, Maryland and were married in 1993 on a beach in South Carolina. Aaron is a computer consultant while Jessica is a full-time domestic engineer and a loving wife and mother. They have two children, Morgan(13) and Erik(11), that will be around and involved as well. Jessica is an avid Sudoku fan and loves reading (either goes well with Starbucks coffee). Aaron enjoys movies, music, video games, and television. They both enjoy hanging out with teens and look forward to being a part of the good things that are happening at LCC.
